My Story

My name is Jennifer Bennetch and I am passionate about the City of Tuscumbia, AL. I moved to Tuscumbia, AL in 2018 from North Carolina and I have never looked back; this community captured my heart.

From Tuscumbia Kiwanis, to city council, to liaison to the Senior Center and Parks and Recreation Department, I am a dedicated advocate for community engagement, transparency, and smart growth within my town. With a proven commitment to service to Tuscumbia and a strong track record of leadership, I am proud to reinforce my commitment to the city by running for Tuscumbia City Council, District 3.

My campaign will focus on these key priorities:

  • Community Development: Supporting responsible economic growth while preserving the rich history and character of Tuscumbia.

  • Public Safety & Infrastructure: Investing in safer streets, walkable neighborhoods, and modern infrastructure to meet the needs of today and tomorrow.

  • Youth & Education: Creating more opportunities for young people to grow, learn, work, and lead right here at home.

  • Transparency & Accountability: Ensuring that city government remains open, honest, and accessible to every resident.

I recognize the importance of tradition within our community, and I promise to root my tenure as councilwoman in listening. Throughout my campaign and beyond, I will continue to be visible on the streets, walking in my district and the downtown community to hear directly from my residents, businesses, and tourists about actual priorities and concerns. I have the energy, vision, and heart to serve the City of Tuscumbia with integrity, experience, and transparency.

To Tuscumbia, I promise to serve you well,

Jennifer Bennetch

I’m running for City Council because I believe in the future of Tuscumbia and the power of people working together to make it better. District 3 deserves a strong voice—one that listens, leads with integrity, and gets things done.
